Travel Photo of the Week: Sunset over Phillip Island

Much of Australia is currently experiencing very hot and dry conditions. This is resulting in outbreaks of many bush fires, some with devastating consequences. However, the smokey conditions are creating some beautiful sunsets. This one was taken from Phillip Island in the Gippsland region of Victoria.

    While very sad with all the destruction, you are right…makes for some beautiful sunsets! That photo is inspiring!

    We’re expecting a rotten day today Anita. The Gippsland fire is still out of control and we’re expecting 36C here today. Much of the State of Victoria will be on high alert!
