Travel Photo of the Week: Gullfoss Waterfall, Iceland

Gullfoss in Iceland, is the largest water fall in Europe and forms part of the Golden Circle which also includes Geysir. In Icelandic the name Gullfoss means ‘Golden Waterfall’. The power of mother nature is something to be heard to be believed. The day this image was taken it was minus 14 degrees Celsius in the strong wind. All the safety barriers were buried under the snow.
