The Betta Waseri belongs to the family of the Gouramies.
It is sometimes referred to as Osphronemidae.
They're the sub-family of the Macropodinae, the order Bettas called Perciformes and the class known as the Actinopterygii.
The Betta Waseri can grow to as long as 9 centimeters and usually inhabits freshwater creeks and streams of south east Asia.
They like well shaded, peat swamp forests of black almost dirty water streams covered with dense with fallen leaves, lots of forest debris, small root growths and thick muddy underlying substrates.
